My Love Quest So Far

• A big old black tire, swinging in the sultry breeze. In it, no one sits. It’s alone in the weather.
• Two plus two is four.
• One plus three is four.
• Four plus zero is four.
• And then, there’s just four.
• So many people hurt in relationships these days, not because their expectations are too high or too great in number, but rather, because they settle. They make due and compromise too much; trying to fit a better-than-nothing into the role of their dream mate.
• Three sexy teens on the bus tonight. Shall I go to them and talk, or sit still, paralyzed by my fright? I sat still. But once at the mall, I rushed ahead and held the mall door open for them. They smiled. So grand.
• A sexy pair of legs and feet contributes much to the sensation of romantic attraction.
• In the early stages, though the sparks may fly as they do from a grindstone in a busy machine shop, all you really know for the first couple months is that your sweetheart has potential. You cannot tell immediately that you’ve definitely met your dream girl.
• I’ve been so scared of doing wrong by others that I’ve never done right by myself… until now.
• It isn’t that I seek the wrong qualities in a mate. It’s just that I’ve done little seeking at all.
• I have forced ladies to stay with me because I felt that I couldn’t easily find others. NOT!
• Sleep rolls in; bringing with it dreams, rest, and tomorrow.
• Another day to spend driving the fear (of talking to beautiful lady strangers) out of my life forever, just as I did for that fear of working with electricity, speeding down a black gravel trail on a motorcycle, or my fear of the dark. I’m as confident chatting with pretty ladies as I am riding a bike or getting a shower.
