Mate Hunting at the Dayton Mall

Some days, despair, frustration, and self-doubt combine to completely squelch my mate-hunting efforts.

Sunny warm days in winter seem to put me in the best frame of mind for the hunt, while the grays in which I’m particularly tired, are the worst.

Some days just aren’t meant for hunting.

Assuming that I’m attractive, what could I do to make myself more approachable by women?

I accept that mood and other circumstances will, at times, steal my fortitude.

What could I do to encourage others to approach me when I don’t wish to do the approaching?

Today, I absolutely cannot force myself to meet a lady, though several have passed since I sat down at this rickety mall lunch table.

I wish to be one with someone.

But the waters of fear have risen temporarily, hiding my path, making it impossible.

Seven years to go.
