Defying Fear At Dayton Mall
I’m here at the mall again, surrounding myself with people. At least here, my dream girl might spot me, even if I can’t approach her myself. Living in public is easy enough and raises my chances. The mall and I shall become intimate friends as I master this stupid, senseless fear of approaching beautiful strangers. And I’ll tell you all about my journeys and discoveries as I sit here journaling while the attractive ladies stroll by.
If a direct introduction of yourself to a lady scares you into inaction, get to know her from a distance for a while. Look for signs that she’s interested in you. If she was cold at first, she might warm up as she gets to know you. Have patience.
Avoid relying on ANY positive reactions from particular strangers. How?
I eagerly await answers for myself and the rest of the lonely world. I wish to advance the art of loving so more people might find a happy relationship with the mate of their dreams. I seek a revolutionary idea – a cure for the paralyzing effects of this fear. The fear emanates in part from a desire to please the women without imposing.
Avoid coming on to married ladies. You’ll only be eliminating the very slightest chances of success if she’s indifferent to you.
To which fears should you listen, and which ought you defy?
Approaching a woman – ANY woman – does not place your life in jeopardy. And so don’t act as though it does.
