Hey [Kel], you mentioned Christie (your long-time friend) at lunch the other day. Haven’t talked with her in a while but I do remember that she was very pretty and friendly. Not sure what her situation is now, although I think you indicated that she was in a rather bad marriage. I’m going to be here another 10 days and would enjoy getting reacquainted with her if she’d be interested. Perhaps she’d enjoy a foot and leg massage. 
Do you think you could put me in touch with her?
On the rest of my story: Well, it would really take lots of pages to type out. Perhaps once I get back home, I’ll give you a call and fill you in, if that’d be okay. What story was I supposed to tell you?
