Okay, No Christy
Dear [Kel],
Gosh [Kel], that’s horrible [about Christy and her jealous, controlling husband]. It’s kind of like that movie, Sleeping with the Enemy, where the jealous husband is such a terror to the woman. When I knew her, Christie was such a nice lady. Hard to imagine a guy not trusting her. And she really has a lot of extra burden with her kids’ health issues besides. She must be very strong. But yes, it seems clear that now would NOT be the time to meet with her. However, I will ask about her from time to time, just in case she becomes available for dating and happy associations at some point. 
Would you at least, let her know that I was asking about her? I’m curious if she remembers me.
Yes, on the spiritual issues, I’ll get into that in email once I get some time here. You should know though that I’m probably not as “saved” as you are. But I do pray daily, and have felt His gentle hands doing great work in my life. More on that later.
