Beejay, Thanks!
Dear [Beejay],
Thanks for the wonderful evening. It was perfect. You’re such an empathic and enthusiastic listener. I hope I listened to you enough and didn’t talk too much.
Our outing was the kind of good experience that I might have fantasized about as a thirteen year old, listing to my radio in my bedroom. The songs the stations played back then often described men and women enjoying fun-filled evenings together. I remember vividly, hoping that someday, I’d be able to dine and dance with a beautiful lady as I did with you tonight. It could not have been better ! ! ! Another fantasy comes true.
Don’t want to wear out my welcome. But would you care to go out dancing on Friday night? I’m an amateur to be sure. But I can move pretty well to the beat. It’d give us a chance to talk some more, and I’ll let you have the floor (conversationally) for as long as you want it.
Well, time to get to bed. Take care, and if we don’t do Friday night, then perhaps, the next time I’m in, we can try a little “Soul City Walking” or “Electric Slide”. Oh that’s right, I don’t do line dances. But I would if you show me how.
Later,
Tom Hesley
