Natasha Let’s Talk on the Phone
Dear Natasha,
Well, I’m rather busy these days getting a business started, and really don’t have the time to type out lots of emails. My preference is hear someone’s voice, as I can tell much more about the person by listening to them talk naturally. Emails can be so contrived, polished, and faked, and I myself have been misled by women who misrepresented themselves in email. I’ve found that it’s easier for someone to fake sincerity in email than it is when they’re talking live. Wasted lots of time trying to figure things out that I would have known in a very short time by live, phone conversation. I’m not saying that you would do this. But I don’t want to take the risk. So, I really don’t want to “get to know” someone in email anymore. I don’t mind “meeting” in email, as we have done already. But once the introductions are out of the way, as I believe ours are, I prefer to talk to them live. Sorry if you disagree, and I do understand if you don’t want to pursue this any further. But it’s just where I am in life. If we can talk via phone, I’d like to get to know you. If not, then I wish you well in your search.
Have a nice holiday weekend,
Tom Hesley
