Good afternoon [Jaya].
Gosh, what a story. You really must have thought the cat was in danger – going out on the roof yourself in a dress and high heels like that. Sounds like you were in danger too.
We try [to] keep our cats indoors at all times because a couple of them over the years were struck by cars when we let them out. But occasionally, the little rascals jump through the open door when I’m unloading groceries and such. It’s like, they know they’re not supposed to go out, so they try their best to break the rules and escape. 
Crazy people, those garbage guys. Was this the older or younger cat that did this?
Now that you’ve probably calmed down, you don’t REALLY want to sell the cats, do you?

Going to the local homecoming football game tonight. Pretty warm for a football game. Temperature is about 82 degrees at present. Hopefully, things will cool down a bit by game time.
