I Missed Jaya’s Call
Dear Jaya,
Boo hoo. So sorry I was on the phone in a teleconference when you called. I like your voice. Hearing it reminded me of the soft, gentle sounds of the river that runs at the bottom of the back yard here. There are lots of trees down there, and the winds make this calming, whispering sound in the leaves. That sound, along with the water makes such a relaxing, contemplative environment. Your voice did likewise. 
Anyway, hope your day is going well. I have some documentation to write from the meeting just now. Hope to finish that all up tomorrow morning. Tonight, I think I’ll go tackle that other leaking roof. Can you believe that both these roofs were just installed in June? Aaaarrgggghhh !
Have fun at soccer, and don’t break any knees or ankles. How long have you been playing? I used to play in grade school, but haven’t tried it in over 25 years. But it was great exercise I do remember.
Well, some work-related email just arrived. So I’d better get to it. Talk to you tomorrow hopefully. You made my day, that you called, you know?
