No, my desire to avoid fathering children has not changed.

Usually, people disguise their true feelings inside a joke – thus the saying that many a truth is said in jest. That way, if they learn that their “joke” offends someone, they can always say, “Oh, don’t take offense. I was only joking.” So, I just wanted to address that part of your joke that may have reflected your true feelings about my repeated contacting of you. If you were bothered by it, it seemed like an explanation of why I sometimes write to people multiple times would help allay any irritation it might have caused you.
