Dear [LizDee],
Just a little email to say hello. Hope you were able to get into your email on AOL.
I’m sitting here, reading a book on falling in love that discusses why people have so much trouble doing it. Very interesting and enlightening.
No smoking! *smile*
Looking forward to talking to you later. Have fun, and I’ll catch you then.
Mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

[This one said we just weren't a good match. So I thought I ask her for some candid feedback about my profile. She said that it was written candidly and very well. But she recommended that I use better pictures.]
Thanks very much. I’ll work on getting more, better photos up there.
Later,

Lauri,
Thanks very much for responding. I’m glad you liked my profile. Yes, I understand the need to focus on only one person at a time, because I’m the same way myself. It’s hard to be completely honest with more than one person around at a time.
Anyway, take care, and best wishes to you for a successful, new relationship.

Thanks for replying, Connie. I understand the difficulties of long distance relationships and don’t blame you for not wanting to give one another go. Take care and good luck in your search for a mate.

[This lady said no because she's going to be busy traveiling for a while.]
Hi again.
Thanks for responding. Wow, overseas? Wonderful. Good luck with that, and I hope you have some life changing experiences over there. If you do, then the trip will have been worthwhile.
Glad you liked my profile. Did anything occur to you that could be improved in it? I want to make it maximally effective but also to maintain an open and honest sense throughout. Don’t worry about my feelings. I can take it.
Thanks for considering me. Perhaps when you return, we might talk again.
Take care,
Tom Hesley

Dear [LizDee],
Yea, I guess Bob called [Emmy] yesterday and they chatted. It will be harder for her to avoid him, now that she’s home from Buffalo, and lonely and bored. She can’t get around there too easily and so doesn’t have much to do during the day. Under those circumstances, a person becomes less picky about who they’re willing to talk to.

Dear [LizDee],
Yes, I sent the taxes out this morning. No, I’m not packed yet. Will probably do that tomorrow night. I’m looking forward to the visit as well. It’ll be good to be back in the city for a time.
