Trimming Dreams

Dear [Ballerina],

Pictures are a neat way to communicate life style and preference, wouldn’t you agree? When there’s time to play with it, I’ll send you some audio files too.

Yes, I know about trimming dreams. I made a lot more money when I was a software engineer, than I do now. But after fifteen years, that job had become just too stressful and “not fun” anymore. I was worried that if I stayed in it that I’d start having health problems from the stress. And since it is a goal of mine to live until I’m at least 105 years old, it didn’t seem wise to keep working there. :)

Besides, the job never really gave me what I wanted in life – a beautiful woman to love and who would love me back. It turned out that love (much more than money) was and is my top priority in life. In fact, it’s the only priority that really matters. You seem like you might feel the same way.

A person is truly rich when they have an abundance of love, not necessarily when they have lots of money to spend. Don’t get me wrong. The money is nice, and I hope that one day, my DJ work and writing will replace the salary I made in computer programming. But if that never happens I won’t cry, as long as I am loved.

Lakes are wonderful, especially when they’re calm and you can see reflections of the sky and trees around them, in them. Your dream home sounds like a spectacular dream. My cousin lives beside a lake. You can see the water from her back deck and you can walk to it in three minutes from her back door. It’s nice. They truly are “mirrors of the nature” to quote you.

Well, I have to start my work out here. It takes around two hours to finish. So take care, and I’ll write again when I return on Monday.

Thinking of you,
Tommy
