Kandi’s Home

Friday, December 10th, 2004

Welcome back home! No problem on the massages. Again, another long shot. :) [She said no.]

I have a new years gig, and a possible gig on the 21st of December. I’ve been working feverishly to update the software on my computer to help to better choose songs that flow well together. It’s going well so far, but there’s much to write.

Also, we’ve decorated the house with lots and lots of Christmas lights, and keeping them all burning brightly is quite a job. I think we burn out about 5 to 10 bulbs a day, and sometimes, they take the whole string with them. So I’ve been working that as well.

Finishing up a project where I’m putting roof de-iceing heaters on our roof, to avoid the ice damage that we had last winter. I have the heaters up there and am now running the wiring from them to the main power panel. Hopefully, that will be done this week.

I’m keeping busy.

Heard from counselor [Ronda] today. She’s doing well, although she says she won’t be at camp this summer.

Carl [...] just wrote to say Happy Holidays.

And, the Philly crew is all doing well.

Well, I must get back to work. Again, I’m so glad you made it home, safe and sound. You might be bored with this area, now that you’ve seen a bit of the world. :) But my impression is that some big things are in store for you. Just hang in there, and let it happen.

Talk to you soon,
Tom Hesley

Updating Tad

Wednesday, December 8th, 2004

Dear [Tad],

Yes, knee replacements are getting to be big business these days. There are commercials from companies who manufacture the joints on TV currently. My aunt had her knees done. It’s a long and painful recovery. At least it was for her. So make sure your Mom knows this. [I'd give her knees some attention if she wishes.]

Good luck with XM.

Later,
Tom

Updating Tad

[Tad],

[Ann]   and I are just friends. That’s all. No more. She’s got some issues that I’m not equipped to deal with, and she’s much heavier than I like. I’m particularly interested in the thin ladies, my height or taller, and who don’t smoke, and don’t use drugs (that includes unnecessary over-the-counter medicines), and some who is health-conscious and doesn’t lie. I know, this is a tall order, one that may never be filled. But I keep hopin’ and tryin’.

Yes, I’d love to catch an Altoona girl. I have tried often this year. But, they’re either married, or don’t turn me on, or I don’t turn them on.

I’ve heard the Siris radio at Wal Mart. Sounds pretty good, and I’ve even toyed with the idea of getting one myself. But I’m not ready to take on a monthly bill right now. Perhaps once the DJ stuff begins making more money. We’ll see.

I’ve had a couple of costly dental issues this year that set me back a piece. But they’re paid for now, so the money front is looking better.

I still want to give your Mom a foot massage. Maybe even kiss them. :)

More later,
Tom Hesley

Kandi Coming Home

[Kandi],

Be careful getting home, and I’ll look forward to hearing from you once you’re back in PA. :)

Happy holidays to ya.

Dear Ronda

Hi [Ronda]!

Tom Hesley here. Remember me, your hiking buddy from 6th session? Hope you’re doing well and that we’ll see you next summer. Hopefully, I’ll see you before then. :-)

I enjoyed dancing with you in August. Are you still working out? I’m getting ready to take a 20 pound weight on our next hike.

Write back if you’d care to communicate further. I’d enjoy that very much.
