Far Away Flirt Rejected

[This one declined my flirt because I'm too far away, although she did say that if I was to move closer, she'd definitely consider me an eligible suitor. So I responded as follows:]

I lived near Dayton, OH for nine years. Worked for [...] for 15 years.

Well, I’ll keep your house offer in mind, although I won’t be moving anywhere unless or until I find someone to move for. If I’m consigned to a life of aloneness, I’d just as soon stay right here.

Sorry you think I’m too young. It does say in your profile that you’ll consider people 50 to 60 years old. I’m 44, just 6 years younger than your minimum age. Do you really think that six years makes a romantic difference among people in their 40s?!?!? I never understood ruling someone out because of their age. I mean, yes. In childhood, six years makes all the difference in the world. But not as middle-aged adults. I can love ‘em old and love ‘em young. But you are the boss.

Good luck to you too.
