Looks Save Time
Hi [Mentat].
You probably haven’t heard from Ken because he was at camp in the session that just wrapped up on Wednesday. Don’t know why he attended the early July session this time. So I probably won’t get to see him this year, unless of course, he comes again for a second session. Some campers do that, you know.
Hope the CD plays well for you. I burned it at 2x, so it should last a very long time if you take care of it.
On the [Can We Date Up?] dialog: Actually, I had much more to say but figured it best to shut up for a bit. We can delve into it more in August. But just to whet your appetite, it occurs that without vision, you can’t really tell what a woman’s going to look like until the relationship advances far enough for touching and intimate connections to be appropriate. But people with vision can make much of the attraction assessment from afar, well before any intimacy develops. You and other blind men are sort of stuck in this regard. You must allow the relationship to go far enough to tell if she’s good or bad. It seems that you would have to wait until much later in the relationship to make the same assessments that sighted people take for granted while still strangers. Perhaps this is one reason you feel that your passion lead you astray, into the arms of 3s and 4s. Comments?
Yes, I heard about Scotty [from Star Trek, passing away]. Very sad. So let’s see. That’s two of the regular cast gone (Kelly died in 1999 I think). I miss that old crew, though it was good that they stopped making movies when they did. Shatner was really starting to look aged.
Well, I’m heading off to bed. Got a busy day tomorrow packing for camp. Will be looking forward to more of this dialog in August.
Take care,
Tom Hesley
