Another New Lady
Hello.
I’ve been on match on and off since 1999. How about you?
I just reviewed your profile and wanted to get a few things out of the way right up front…
- I don’t want to have children.
- I do not drive (low vision).
- I do not drink (not even socially), and steer clear of big crowds and parties.
- I like it  quiet. No door slamming, blaring TVs, or shouting. I hate unnecessary noise, and prefer the library atmosphere over the bar.
- I have a stable but low income right now (aspiring writer and philosopher). I’m not into the “rich, corporate” life anymore. Been there. Done that. Found it stressful, difficult, and empty.
- I’m not looking to rush into anything. Lots of phone talk and casual dating first. Then, if it’s right, maybe more.
- Open communication is a must. Always.
- In your profile, you mention that you’re a smoker. I don’t generally date smokers, but wouldn’t mind considering you so long as you don’t smoke in my presence.
If none of this puts you off, I’d love to get to know you. A bit more about me…
- I’m willing to travel to visit each month once the time is right, and particularly enjoy entertaining people who visit me. Do you like showing a special new person around your home town? I love doing that, and seeing their home town as well.
- If you like reading, and reading to each other occasionally, that’s a plus. Currently, I’m studying American and English classic literature but also enjoy science fiction and psychology.
- Mine is a life full of simple pleasures, introspection, and contemplation. I’m quiet, laid back, gentle, and knowledgeable.
- I’m a good listener and since I’m well-read, have insights on many issues you might want to discuss.
- I enjoy giving and receiving massage, long talks, and spiritual walks.
- If you’re not looking for a man to spoil you with lavishness, then perhaps I’m your guy. I gladly share my resources with my ladies, so long as it’s not expected.
