Tom's Love Quest

These girls wooed me the most over all.  Not that they   all   produced the greatest sexual or romantic desire and gratification, though some of them did.  But at times while either pining for or dating each of these, I felt I could be with no one more suited to my tastes, morals, values, education level, religious beliefs, social status, and so on.   While grazing in these ladies’ pastures, the grass immediately surrounding me was always the greenest.  Indeed, there was no such thing as greener grass on the other side of the fence.  There may have been   equally   green grass; but none greener.  I sensed that I was dating among the best I could, and that there was none better.  Now I’ve dated many others besides these.  But only relationships forged with the ladies in this list appeared to be the best that a relationship could be; at least for a few months to a few years anyhow.

Hi.

Just wanted to tell you how nice it felt to see you again over lunch after all this time. You haven’t aged a bit and you still have that wit about you that always made me smile while listening to you talk. And it’s almost as though you can read minds, the way you finished my sentences and phrases for me several times today!! Are you sure you’re not a psychic?

Anyway, I’m going to be in the area until Saturday morning. And while I’m quite busy during the day, I find the hotel room rather boring and lonely at night. So, how would you like to go out either tomorrow or Friday night? We could go see a movie or take a walk at the mall. Doesn’t matter what, really. It feels like it would be nice to hang out together some more, no matter what we do.

I understand if for whatever reason you can’t do this. I just didn’t want to waste the opportunity to ask you out while I’m here.

Been a long time since I’ve written to you about anything other than business (10 years I think). Too long indeed.

Hope you’re doing well and, at least so far, having a Happy New Year, and that it is full of good health and success.

I’m still in Philly, loving it. I work half-time here, and half-time in Altoona, PA. My mother and sisters are in Altoona. It’s nice to go up there for a week or two each month and spend time with them and their children, as there are eight nieces and nephews now. “Time is marching on.”

Anyway, I’m going to be in Dayton between January 18th and January 27th. When planing my activities for that time, for some reason, I thought of you. How would you like to get together for an hour, an afternoon, an evening, whatever? We might have lunch, dinner, or stroll in the mall. If you can work it in, let me know when, during this time, you’re free, and I’ll schedule some time.
